big weekend

hood and backsplash are installed.  stove and oven work! not bad for a 16 year old range that spent the better  part of a year under a tarp on a patio

sink and faucet installed. now to measure for the countertop

adjustable shelving in the pantry

got this mirror for a very seasonable price at governors antiques in mechanicsville, va

looks great on the dining room wall

powder room is complete(ish).  does anyone have an extra hanging wire soap dish  lying around?

got a french cleat to hang the front door thingy.

is there a name for something like this?

UPDATE: gloria tells me it's called a landing strip

fabrication

Doug the Welder sent me some photos of the process he used to make the oval.
