a little art

I was in Culpeper, VA last week for work and decided to mill about town.  There was a vintage/antique shop called Found.  They had a lot really cool stuff at quite reasonable prices (I swear, they aren't paying me to say this), but this road runner print caught my eye right away.  Apparently, it was owned by the Ambassador to Lebanon during LBJ.  More art to come, soon.

  1. Ooooh, I think that's wonderful! Watch out for falling anvils though. ~csf

  2. Really nice piece! And you have it in the perfect spot because the opposite facing road runners direct the viewer either up or down. I also like the was the artist made the road runners opposite of each other. What is black on one is white on the other. It makes the symmetry more interesting than if the birds were exactly alike.

  3. Looks great! Glad I stopped by after Carlie's comment - I didn't notice the detail she pointed out.

Forgot to say in my last comment that the coffee table looks really nice, too.
