More brick and drywall

  1. Pretty! I assume that brick will stay exposed? Are there 2 layers of brick with space or insulation between?

  2. yep, remaining exposed.

it's actually a shared wall, so no insulation needed.

  3. Uh oh... what's going on with the ducting? Is that staying below the drywall ceiling exposed? Being covered up with more drywall? You're gonna get scallops from those lights being so close. This wasn't on the RCPs!!

  5. Scallops will add character. They are also delicious.

  6. Scallops killed my dog. I think you'll be ok, but light still has to go down before it points in any direction. I can't speak for the quality of your fittings either, but you have what looks like an 8" gap, so it might be a non-issue. No promises.
