We did charcoal gray grout on our powder room floor (which is now a closet again) - don't know if you remember that floor or not. (White hexagons with a few black insets.) I chose a deep color so it wouldn't discolor over the years. It still looks like new 23 years later! I would go for something dark that won't show stains, as Car said. We have white on our kitchen back splash, and even though we used a sealer, I wouldn't do that again.
Since this grout is in a cooking area, think about splashed coffee, spaghetti sauce, wine, etc. and what it will do to a light colored grout.
ReplyDeleteThe kitchen looks spectacular, Rob.

ReplyDeleteI agree, charcoal grey. Or black to match your dog. Or forest green to match your purty eyes. The kitchen sure looks purty too, by the way.
