On Monday, I went to the house and found an awful sight.

I was told that the decking will be replaced as soon as the roof is replaced, we just needed to build it up to get to the roof.

This was found in the rear chimney, apparently.

Since I was sick all weekend, I figured I should be productive so I worked on the chairs.  I don't have the good vinyl for the chairs I'm going to keep, but I did receive the cheaper vinyl for the 2 I'm looking to get rid of.  The 2 chairs are Semi Upholstered Navy Chairs by Emeco.  The other chairs are Goodform by The General Fireproofing Company.  Anyone want two Emeco chairs?  I'll sell them to you for the going rate.

After refinishing the seat and seat back plates, a friend commented that it looked like a man-mobile.  I can't argue with her.

Shelving and Sconces

These are the old 2nd floor joists.  I'll be using them as shelving behind my bed.

I just received these salvaged ship lights.  They will be used as sconces above the sink in the guest bathroom.

and apart.  These are called "vapor proof" lights.  The screw on bulb helps reduce water intrusion into the lights (water and electricity don't like to mix).

Found the last piece of the puzzle

I just talked to Heidi at Mid-Century Furniture Warehouse in Philly and she says she has some Goodform armchairs left.  Can't wait to pick one up in June!
